The task was to develop a longrid design that would not only inform about Basquiat's life and work, but also convey the atmosphere of the era and the media environment in which he worked. It was important to create a readable and expressive text format that would enhance the perception of the material and emphasize the uniqueness of the artist.
This longrid is dedicated to the life and work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, one of the most prominent and influential artists of our time. The project pays special attention to typography: the use of monospaced font creates an atmosphere of printed newspapers and magazines, emphasizing the connection of Basquiat's art with street culture and the media context of his time.
